Are you good enough to go to Heaven?

Many people believe if they are good, moral, and generous they will go to heaven. Some people believe going to a certain church and meeting it's requirements will get them to heaven. Others believe a life of dedicated service to a good cause will get them to heaven. All these things are admirable; however God made it clear in His word what He thinks about man's goodness.

Rom 5:12 (KJV): Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Psalm 53:1-3 (KJV): ...The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good. God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

ROM 3:10-12 (KJV): As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

ROM 3:23 (KJV): For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Do you think God isn't aware of your sin, doesn't have time for you, or doesn't care about you?

Luke 12:2-5 (KJV): For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

Mat 10:29-31 (KJV): Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

John 3:16 (KJV): For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
